Pakistan Foam Manufacturer Visits Qingdao Factory to Test TDB-2200 Automatic Flat Cutting Machine

On 21 October 2026, a delegation from a foam converting manufacturer based in Pakistan visited our Qingdao production facility to inspect and test the TDB-2200 high-end automatic flat cutting machine. The customer supplies PU and EVA foam sheets to footwear, packaging and automotive interior producers, and is currently expanding its splitting capacity to shorten lead times on export orders.

The TDB-2200 belongs to our full-servo automatic flat cutter series. It is designed for continuous splitting of foam blocks into precise sheets, with servo control on all main axes and an automatic blade-sharpening system.

The delegation spent a full day at the plant. The schedule was built around the customer's actual production questions rather than a general presentation:

• Line walk-through: the visitors reviewed the machining, assembly and testing bays, including the frame welding fixtures and the servo calibration station.
• Live cutting trial: a 45-density EVA block and a soft PU block were split into 3 mm, 8 mm and 20 mm sheets in front of the customer.
• Thickness verification: five points per sheet were measured with a digital micrometer; results stayed inside the published tolerance band on every sample.
• Blade maintenance demo: the automatic sharpening cycle and the air-cleaning chamber were demonstrated, together with a band blade change performed by one technician.
• Layout and utilities review: power supply, compressed air, dust extraction and forklift access were checked against the customer's building plan.
• Training and spare parts plan: a two-day operator training programme and a recommended first-year spare parts list were agreed in principle.

The same platform covers several product lines the customer already sells:

• Footwear materials: insole and midsole sheets, lining foam and die-cutting blanks.
• Packaging: EPE pearl cotton and PU foam sheets for protective packaging.
• Automotive interiors: seating foam, headliner and acoustic layers.
• Building and furniture: insulation boards, cushioning and upholstery foam.

For this configuration the production lead time is 35 working days after receipt of the down payment, with shipment arranged from Qingdao port. Machines are packed nude with protective film, while small spare parts travel in wooden cases. We provide an English operation manual, remote commissioning support and an optional on-site installation and training service. A spare band blade and a set of guide components can be included in the first shipment so the customer is not dependent on imported wear parts.

The customer's technical manager commented after the trial: "We compared three suppliers before this trip. What convinced us was seeing the thickness measured on our own material, not on a sample prepared for the demo. The servo control and the automatic sharpening system are what our operators need to keep quality stable across shifts."

Following the visit, we will issue the formal quotation, a factory layout drawing for the 2200 mm working width, and the spare parts list. Once the down payment is confirmed, production is scheduled for shipment in the fourth quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned before the customer's peak season.
