The C818A is an endless loop blade machine for blocks that are tall and wide. Cutting height is 1300 mm, cutting width is 1100-2300 mm, and sheet thickness runs from 0.6 mm to 170 mm with ±0.1 mm precision on 0.6-5 mm sheet. Cutting speed is 60-130 m/min on a 131 kW drive, machine weight is 60 T and the machine is CE certified.
Tall blocks are where a loop machine earns its place. A 1300 mm block cut with a reciprocating blade needs the blade to enter and leave the material; an endless loop blade stays in the cut, so the block is sliced from the top face down without a re-clamp. The frame has to be stiff enough and heavy enough that the cut stays straight over 2300 mm of width, which is what the 60 T structure is for.
Tall blocks are sliced in one set-up instead of being cut down to fit the machine.
Wide blocks are cut across the full width, so the far edge matches the near edge.
Thin comfort sheet through to thick padding from the same loop blade setting.
Because the blade does not leave the cut, the sheet face has no entry or exit mark and the block does not need re-clamping between sheets. That is the practical difference on a 1300 mm block.
Cutting height and machine weight are related. A blade travelling through 1300 mm of foam at 130 m/min carries a load into the frame, and if the frame flexes the sheet gets thicker on one side of the block than the other. A 60 T structure is what keeps the cut line straight at full width and full height.
Cutting width sets the handling. At 2300 mm the sheet needs a take-off table and a stacking route as wide as the machine, otherwise the operator folds the sheet and the fold line is scrap. On wide sheet the material is soft enough that a crease stays visible after the sheet relaxes.
Density matters too. The machine works well from 15 to 50 kg/m3. Above that the blade sees more resistance, the feed rate has to come down and the blade wears faster, so the cut speed should be set from the foam grade rather than from the maximum figure on the plate.

| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness drifts along the cut | Blade tension or loop stretch | Check tension and re-set the guide before the next block |
| Chatter marks on the sheet | Worn blade joint or guide play | Inspect the joint, reset guide clearance |
| Wavy sheet edge | Feed speed too high for the foam grade | Reduce speed inside the 60-130 m/min range |
| Bottom corner not cut through | Block height above the head travel | Check block height against the 1300 mm cutting height |
| Blade stalls or breaks | Foam density above 50 kg/m3 or debris in the cut | Check the foam grade and clear debris from the guide |
| Sheet width varies | Block not aligned to the blade line | Re-align the block against the fence before starting |
Loop blade faults show up early. Check the first sheet of each block at both edges and the middle, and one rejected sheet replaces half a shift of scrap.
A 60 T machine needs a level, anchored foundation and clear space on both sides. The loading side needs room for a lift or a roller table; the take-off side needs 2300 mm of clear width plus pallets at table height.
Operators should be trained on the two things that decide sheet quality: block alignment and blade condition. A block that is not square to the blade line produces a wavy first sheet no matter what thickness is set.
The loop blade and its guide carry the tolerance. Check the blade edge and the joint at the start of each shift, keep the guide clear of dust, and follow the sharpening interval for the foam grade. A loop blade that is starting to dull still cuts 100 mm sheet cleanly while leaving a taper on 1 mm sheet.
The tension unit deserves a daily look. A loop that runs slack wanders in the cut, and a loop that runs tight loads the joint. Both show up as thickness variation before they show up as a break.
The machine ships in export packing with the head blocked and the frame braced. At 60 T it needs a heavy-lift plan and a confirmed container or flat-rack booking before shipment, and the receiving site door width should be checked against the machine width.
Delivery is 45 working days after downpayment, payment by T/T or L/C, minimum order one set. Installation guidance, remote commissioning support and spare loop blades are available with the machine.
