The TDA-2000 cuts corrugated foam profiles up to 30 mm deep on a 3800 kg frame. Profile width is 2000 mm, the profiling roller runs 0-15 r/min, cutting speed is 0-25 m/min, the band blade is 9400 mm long and the motor is 9.94 kW. The machine is CE certified.
Deep waves load the machine differently from shallow ones. At 30 mm the roller is pressing a lot of foam into the blade, and the reaction pushes back on the frame, the roller mounts and the guide. A 3800 kg frame is what keeps that depth even across a 2000 mm width instead of fading at the edges.
Deep corrugation for packaging and cushioning, not a surface texture.
Holds depth even across the full 2000 mm width under roller load.
Long blade with more cooling time, so crests stay sharp on deep cuts.
Deep profiles are less forgiving than shallow ones. A sheet with uneven thickness will show it at the edges first, because the roller cannot compress what is not there.
At 30 mm the roller is compressing a substantial amount of foam. The reaction force is proportional to that compression, and it acts on the roller mounts, the frame and the blade guide at the same time. That is why the frame weight matters more on deep profiles than on shallow ones.
The blade also works harder. A deep compressed crest presents more material to the edge, and the cooling time between cuts matters more. A 9400 mm band has more length to shed heat than a short blade, which is why crests stay sharp through a production run instead of rounding off.
Cutting speed has to come down as depth goes up. Running a 30 mm profile at the maximum cutting speed usually produces a torn crest on soft foam and a rounded one on firm foam. The usable setting is found on a test sheet, not on a data sheet.

| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Wave depth uneven across the width | Roller pressure uneven or foam sheet thickness varies | Level the roller pressure and check sheet thickness before the run |
| Wave pattern flattened | Roller pressure too low for the foam grade | Increase roller pressure and reduce cutting speed inside 0-25 m/min |
| Torn peaks on soft foam | Cutting speed too high for the grade | Lower the cutting speed and check the blade edge |
| Pattern shifts along the sheet | Feed slip at the roller | Clean the roller, check the drive and re-feed the sheet |
| Blade cuts out of line | Blade tension or guide wear | Re-tension the blade, check guide clearance, cut a test sheet |
| Depth fades at the sheet edges | Foam sheet crowned or roller not parallel | Flatten the sheet and set the roller parallel to the table |
Wave faults almost always come from roller pressure or sheet thickness, not from the blade. Run a short test sheet and measure the depth at three points across the width before the production run.
Deep profiling produces more offcut and more dust than shallow work. Keep the table clear, because dust under the sheet changes the effective thickness and the depth at the edges drops.
Keep hands out of the infeed zone. The roller grips a compressed sheet firmly, and a hand near the roller will be pulled in faster than it can be withdrawn.
Deep profiling puts more load on the roller mounts and the blade guide than shallow work. Check both monthly, along with the roller parallelism, because a roller that is slightly out of parallel shows up as depth variation at the edges.
Blade tension stays on the daily list. On deep cuts a slack blade produces a rounded crest that is easy to miss on a single part and obvious when the batch is stacked.
The machine ships in export packing with the profiling head blocked and the roller protected. At 3800 kg, confirm the container plan and the receiving access, and check the floor loading at the destination before installation.
