The TDP-02 trims and cross cuts PU foam to a thickness between 1 mm and 100 mm on a 5000 kg machine frame. Cutting width is 1000-2000 mm, feed speed is 1-20 m/min, density range is 15-200 kg/m³ and total motor power is 10 kW. The machine is CE certified.
Thickness is the number a customer measures. On a foam block, a trimming head that flexes under load produces a slice that is 20 mm at one end and 21 mm at the other, and that difference is a rejected order. A 5000 kg frame is what holds the head steady while a full width block is being cut.

Thin topper sheets and thick block slices from the same head range.
Holds the trimming head steady across a full width block.
Full mattress blocks and narrow blocks on one table.

Measure at both ends of the slice, not in the middle. A slice that is right in the middle and thin at the end points to head flex or a block that is not square, and both are worth fixing before the run continues.
Thickness error on a foam block has three sources, and only one of them is the setting. The first is head flex: the trimming head is pushed by the block and, on a light frame, it moves. The second is a block that is not square, so the head sees a different depth as it travels. The third is feed variation, where a slipping belt lets the block slow and the blade dwell in one place.
A 5000 kg frame addresses the first. Trimming an edge before slicing addresses the second, because the cut then references a face that is already true. Checking the feed belt addresses the third.
That is the practical value of a heavy machine on this job. The blade and the setting are the same on a light machine, but the slice that comes off is not, and the difference shows up when the customer measures it.

| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness differs at the two ends of a slice | Trimming head flexing or block not square | Trim a reference edge first, then check head guide clearance |
| Torn edge on soft foam | Feed too fast for the density | Reduce feed inside 1-20 m/min and check the blade edge |
| Blade stalls on dense foam | Feed too high for 200 kg/m3 grades | Lower the feed and let the 10 kW drive recover speed |
| Block slips during the cross cut | Feed belt glazed or clamp pressure low | Clean the belt and check the clamp pressure |
| Trimmed width drifts along the block | Side guide creeping under load | Re-lock the side guide and check the rail |
| Stepped or wavy cut face | Blade tension or blade weld worn | Re-tension the blade and inspect the weld |
Most trimming faults come from the block or the feed, not the blade. Square one edge first, set the feed for the density, and measure the first slice at both ends before the production run.
The machine is 5000 kg and 6424 mm long overall. Plan the floor for the machine and for the block run-out, because a trimmed block needs somewhere to go without being re-handled.
Keep hands clear of the trimming head and the infeed once the feed is engaged. Check thickness on a stopped machine, never by reaching into a moving cut.

Thickness accuracy depends on the head guide and the table being parallel. Check the guide and the table surface weekly, and calibrate the thickness setting monthly against a measured slice.
The blade edge stays on the daily list. A dull blade does not change thickness directly, but it forces a slower feed, and a slower feed on dense foam is where the block starts to mark.

The machine ships in export packing with the trimming head blocked and the table protected. At 5000 kg and 6424*4600*2786 mm, confirm the container plan, the receiving access and the floor loading before installation.
