4 Blocks per Hour Rebond Foam Machine with 15 m³ Mixing Tank and 33.5 kW Motor
C619 Rebond Foam Machine for 4 Blocks per Hour

The C619 runs at 4 blocks per hour from a 15 m³ mixing tank. Motor power is 33.5 kW, density is held within ±5 kg/m³ up to 120 kg/m³, the foaming tank is supplied in two customized dimensions and the machine weighs 15 t. It is CE certified.

A rebond line is only as fast as its slowest step, and that is usually not the mixer. Mould handling, cure time and tank changeover decide whether a 4 blocks per hour machine actually delivers four blocks per hour over a shift.

The Machine at a Glance

4 blocks per hour

Output matched to a downstream cutting line, not a showroom figure.

15 m³ mixing tank

One batch keeps the mould station fed between fills.

Two foaming tank sizes

Block dimensions changed by tank option, not by rebuilding the line.

Keeping Four Blocks an Hour
  1. Plan the batch. Charge granule and binder for the batch volume the 15 m³ tank supports.
  2. Mix on schedule. Start the next batch while the current mould is curing.
  3. Prepare the mould. Have the next mould ready before the tank is full.
  4. Fill and cure. Fill to the tank dimension set for the order, cure for the full time.
  5. Demould and move. Clear the station for the next block immediately.
  6. Track the count. Log blocks per hour across the shift, not per hour at peak.

Four blocks per hour is a shift average, not a peak. The way to hit it is to overlap mixing with curing, so the mixer is never waiting for a mould and the mould is never waiting for a batch.

Where a Four Block Line Loses Time

The mixer is rarely the constraint on a rebond line. Time is lost at the mould station: waiting for a mould to be prepared, waiting for cure, or handling a block that has to be moved before the next fill can start.

A 15 m³ mixing tank lets the batch run ahead of the mould station. The next batch can be mixing while the current block cures, which is how a 4 blocks per hour rating is actually achieved across a shift rather than only on the first hour.

The second loss is dimensional change. If the block size has to change for an order, a line with one fixed tank stops while the change is made. Two customized foaming tank options mean the change is a decision at order intake, not a stoppage mid-shift.

  • Overlap mixing and curing: the mixer should never wait for a mould.
  • Mould discipline: next mould ready before the tank is full.
  • Plan size changes: tank option chosen at order intake, not mid-run.
Log blocks per hour over the whole shift. A line that hits four in the first hour and three after that has a mould handling problem, not a mixing problem.

Core Advantages
  • 4 blocks/h output: sized to feed a block cutting line without stockpiling.
  • 15 m³ mixing tank: batch volume that supports continuous filling.
  • 33.5 kW mixing drive: holds speed through a full batch, not only at start-up.
  • Density within ±5 kg/m³: output does not come at the cost of block quality.
  • Two foaming tank options: the block size is a purchasing decision, not a rebuild.
  • 15 t frame: stable under continuous running, three shifts a day.
  • CE certified: export-ready guarding and electrics.
Primary Applications
  • Rebond block production: 4 blocks per hour feeding a cutting line.
  • Gym mat lines: blocks sized for mat cutting.
  • Carpet underlay: continuous block output for underlay converting.
  • Cushioning blocks: steady supply for upholstery converting.
  • Packaging blocks: output for protective packaging cutters.
  • Foam recycling: waste granules converted at line rate.

Rebond Foaming Faults and Their Causes
Symptom Likely cause Action
Block density varies from top to bottom Mixing time too short or binder unevenly distributed Extend mixing time and check binder dosing
Block cracks while curing Steam or cure time too short for the density Increase cure time and check steam pressure
Density above the target Weighing error on granule or binder Calibrate the scale and re-check the batch recipe
Output drops below 4 blocks/h Tank changeover or mould handling is slow Plan the mould sequence and shorten changeover
Block rebounds poorly Binder ratio low for the granule size Raise the binder ratio and test a block
Discharge blocked Granule build-up in the tank outlet Clean the outlet and check granule moisture

Rebond density problems are almost always dosing or mixing time. Weigh the granule and the binder, mix long enough for the batch size, and check one block from each shift rather than one block per week.

Operation, Safety and Shift Planning

Plan the shift around the cure time. Blocks that are demoulded early to keep the count up end up out of tolerance, and the count is worth nothing if the blocks are rejected downstream.

The foaming area is hot and the binder needs ventilation. Keep the dosing and mixing area clear, and keep the guarding on the mould station in place while a block is curing.

  • Shift plan: batch schedule built around cure time, not around the block count.
  • Mould readiness: next mould prepared before the tank is full.
  • Guarding: mould station guards in place during cure.
  • Ventilation: dosing and mixing area ventilated.

Blade Care and Daily Maintenance

The mixer drive and the binder pump are the two items that stop a line. Check the pump weekly and the mixing blades monthly, and keep a spare pump seal on the shelf.

Keep the tank outlet clear. Granule build-up at the outlet slows the fill, and a slow fill is the most common reason an output figure quietly drops from four blocks to three.

  • Every batch: outlet clear, block count logged.
  • Weekly: binder pump, mixer drive, seals.
  • Monthly: mixing blades, scale calibration, motor current.
  • Spares: one pump seal set and one set of mixer blades.

Packaging and Delivery

The line ships in export packing in major assemblies with the tanks and control cabinet packed separately. At 15 t, confirm the lifting capacity at both ends and the container loading sequence before shipment.

Delivery is 45 working days after downpayment, payment by T/T or L/C, minimum order one set. Installation guidance and commissioning support ship with the machine.
